Made your corn on the cob recipe. I cannot open my pressure cooker. What do you suggest I do?

Sounds like you still have a vacuum in the cooker. This happens sometimes if the cooker is not well designed. Try running the cooker under cold running water and make sure all of the pressure is out. If you still can’t remove the lid, call the manufacturer and see if you can return or exchange the cooker. This used to be a problem with the old Cuisinart cooker decades ago, but I haven’t heard of the problem in recent years. Good luck!

I have a Fagor Duo and when I release pressure at end of cooking some liquid squirts out of pressure release valve along with steam. What does this mean and what do I need to do so only steam comes out? Thx

Gee, I’m actually not familiar with this model so I’m not sure. I suggest that you call or write to customer service at Fagor. In the meanwhile, you can release the pressure under cold running water to avoid any mess. Good luck! Lorna
